With the opening on april 26th 1995, of the Hotel Palcio Ca Sa Galesa the entire hotelworld of Palma changed. They have created a whole new concept of Cityhotels which is used in all Europe for the last years. Palacio Ca Sa Galesa is a new idea to reform the old Manor-houses, who contribute to the personality of any city. This is also a new concept of hospitality, with a costum and exclusive service, in a luxurious atmosphere. May with this Hotel the whole market made a step forward to a new segment. Palacio Ca Sa Galesa will do everything to be the symbol of this change. This will not be an alternative to the traditional Cityhotels but it contributes to the increase of the quality of the offer on the citymarket. Palacio Ca Sa Galesa is a 5 stars Hotel, in the heart of Palma, in the"calle Miramar nš8", in a building of more or less 3.000mē which was build in 1576. It have only 12 rooms(7 suites + 5Double) all are decorated differently and are called like famous musicans,for example, is the one which is dedicated to Gershwin's " Rapsodia Azul" ; it has a private terrace with views to the garden. From the patio you can reach the "noble" floor with an enormous dinnig-room, 2 lounges where the guests can have a drink and read or go to the beautyful patio fountain. You can also find on this floor the dinning-room, the hotel have no catering service but you can have dinner with your guests if make a reservation. Another room is the "Cocina Monet" wich is very well decorated in yellow clours, all guests can have there Tee or Coffe directly imported from Harrod's, London. Palacio
Ca Sa Galesa also have "El Café Ricks" a big hall where you can
have breakfast fron 8'30 till 11'00 a.m. There is also a room-service
to have breakfast on your suite. For your spare time in the Hotel, we
have sun-terrace with hammocks, a fitness-room, a solarium, a sauna
and something wich makes it unique: a roman bath located in a half cellar,
the swimmingpool is cooled in summer and heated in winter, and also
have a current. This is the only swimmingpool left in the gothic district
of Palma. This Hotel combines the mallorquin, the french, the italian
and the english style. With windows from the XIXth century, french watches
from the imperial times, brass, marble and wooden floors from Puerto
Rico, wooden furniture from the end of the XVIIth century and walls
made mallorquin pine wich already not exists.
